School's development: On 3 July, 2017, Han Academy successfully completed the registration stage and became a registered school by Hong Kong Education Bureau. On 4 August, Han Academy passed the authorisation of Cambridge International Examinations(CIE) and became a Cambridge International School. In October 2018, Han Academy was authorized by the Cambridge International Examinations and the British Council as a KET/PET/FCE/IELST registration centre. In March 2019, we became the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme(IBDP) school.
Teacher's qualifications: Han Academy has a strong and complete team for teaching and curriculum development. We have 6 different subject groups: Chinese, English, Mathematics, Sciences, Humanities, Arts and PE. All of the school senior leaders have over 10 years of teaching and education administration experience in IB schools. Our teachers graduated from top universities such as the University of Hong Kong, National University of Singapore. Our curriculum development and teaching team consists of outstanding educators, scientists and professional artists with rich experience. See staff profile page.
School facilities: We strictly follow the guidelines set by International Baccalaureate Organization(IBO) and CIE. Under these two international requirements for school facilities, we have 12 classrooms, 3 laboratories, 2 art rooms, 1 music and dancing studio, 1 library, 1 assembly hall and 1 indoor playground.
We believe that home learning and homework are essential in the education process. Here are our home learning guideline:

Summative assessment: we divide each academic year into two terms, and there is a unified test before the end of each term. After the tests, parents will receive school report cards.
Formative assessment: the teacher will record the students' academic performance and then communicate with parents verbally or in written form to inform them about their children's performance. We will also have annual and monthly parents' meetings to keep parents updated on the students' learning progress.
Student-led conferences: the school will select a specific time in each academic year as information sharing sessions for parents. At that time, every student will spend 15 to 30 minutes individually to share his/her performance, learning difficulties and solutions with the parents.
Following IB standards, we arrange our ECA from three dimensions: Creativity, Activity and Service. We organize Drawing and Sketching, Board Games, Chess, Card Game, Guitar Club, Robotics, African Drum, Handprint Printing, Origami, Badminton, Chinese Debate, Book Club, Cantonese Club, Film and Reading, Public Speaking, Chinese Martial Arts, Do-It-Yourself, Violin and Local Cooperative Performance.
We select healthy and delicious lunch suppliers to arrange on campus lunch for students. In addition, we also cooperate with school bus companies to provide school bus service.
