我的本科讀的是傳媒,碩士讀的是(對外)漢語教學,身邊有過不少朋友問過我,為什麼會做出這樣的選擇,但其實在做出選擇的那一瞬間卻很簡單,就是感興趣,所以都說興趣是我們最好的老師。

研究生期間我曾在美國一所學校擔任實習中文老師,那段時間讓我受益匪淺,通過不斷觀課、備課、講課讓我真切領悟到成為一名老師的魅力,是一份既有成就感又有責任感的魅力。在讀書期間我們在學校學習了很多理論性知識,但當真正步入課堂時,你會發現傳授知識只是教師需要思考的其中一項必備內容,你還需要考慮課堂管理、了解學生各自性格特點、思考如何激發出他們的創造力,做到因材施教。當做好準備,在教學的過程中,你能夠在某一瞬間感受到學生有了明顯的進步並有了自己的思考判斷能力,正是這一瞬間特別吸引我,也是讓我想要繼續成為一名教師的理由和原因。我認為,教育是一個長期的過程,知識固然重要,但不要一味地給學生傳授知識,作為老師這一角色,我更希望學習著成為一名引導者,能夠讓學生學會在主動學習知識的同時,對生活有自己的思考。

香港是一個獨特的地方,這裡更加包容更加多元,在這一片土地上你能夠發現源遠流長的東方文化和獨具特色的西方文化共同並存且融合甚好,教育亦是如此,期待東西文化在融匯的過程中創造出更有趣的火花。

Tons of people keep asking me why I chose to be a teacher, especially my bachelor degree is majored in journalism.  The reason is quite simple. it is because of interest. A Chinese old saying goes, ''Interest is the best teacher'' so that is why I chose the master degree in ''Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language''.

During the study in master, I had undergone an internship as a Chinese teacher. It was rewarding and widened my horizon. By observing, preparing and teaching classes, I deeply understand how wonderful it is when I am being a teacher. It is a job full of responsibility but at the same time brings achievement. Although I learnt theoretical knowledge when I was a student, it still not enough after being a real teacher and having real classes, not only I need to teach all the language point, but also manage the whole class atmosphere, know the personality of each students, and keep innovate all my students. At a time when I feel my students have a clear progress and think independently than before, I couldn’t be more satisfied, that's also a significant reason why I want to be a teacher. I always consider that education is a longterm process, knowing the knowledge is just a short-term goal. As a teacher, I prefer to be a conductor, to cultivate the ability of independent thinking and active learning.  

HK is a unique place with the mixture of eastern and western culture and this can be applied to the field of education. I really look forward to creating and bringing more special insight through this approach.

I'm glad to join Han Academy, a warm family, and I hope I could grow and learn with it.
